Hydraulics

Korf Hydraulics combines a user friendly graphical interface with advanced and practical algorithms for solving complex liquid, gas and two phase fluid flow problems. It is based on a novel method that regards all flow rates and pressures as unknown variables. The user only need to specify sufficient pressures, flows and equipment sizes to enable the program to calculate the unknown pressures and flows (amazing isn't it?). Any valid combination of specifications may be used.

As far as we are know, Korf is the only program with this flexibility.

Novel, fast and flexible algorithms that support liquid, gases (also choked flow) and 2-phase flow (also HEM Omega method). Run hydraulics only, or combined with flash calculation.

Several pipe databases with the ability to size pipes based on multiple criteria. Fittings can be based on the EL, Crane or 2K method. Detailed reports include pressure profile and flow regime maps.

Enter fluid density/MW and viscosity directly in Hydraulics mode. Or combine hydraulics with built in 3-phase flash calculations (SRK, Steam) or link to Hysys for more complex thermodynamics.
